Linking pages to posts

  I have a few posts that I would like to turn into pages but here’s the catch: I’m hoping to be able to preserve all their properties as posts (tags, dates, existing comments, etc).

  Ideally, I want to be able to have a link in the sidebar (usually reserved for pages) that will link to a specific post.

  I sort of suspect this is not possible but thought I’d see if any of you had an idea. Thanks!

  Pages don’t have tags, nor are they included in the feed. If you want a sidebar link, that’s not a problem. Simply add a Text widget, title it what you want (such as “Recommended Entries”), and put in a link to the entry.

  D’oh! Yeah, that’s pretty much what I want – a text widget should work – thanks!
