Linking partnerships with banners on my blog
-
Hello.
There is a site that contacted me for a potential partnership. This is the site “My Eden”. Here is his link http://www.moneden.fr/
I read the policy and security chart “Monetize your site” In some cases it is allowed. To avoid being outside of what is allowed I would like to know if in my case is what I can monetize my blog?
So that you have a better idea of the request that I received with our exchanges.First email received from “My Eden”.

Comment: Hello,
Our on-line garden center wants to develop partnerships with specialized websites like yours, with a community of garden enthusiasts. Your site relies on themes in affinity with our customers, which is why we propose you to bring a trade purpose through a complete and complementary product offer.
Do not hesitate to consult our affiliate page https://modules.affili.net/Signup/12714, and to contact me to discuss the different actions that we could put in place, we will be responsive to any request.

Good evening.
Thank you for thinking about my site which is focused on permaculture and organic farming.
What would be a partnership with your site “My Eden”?
In the meantime, receive all my cordial greetings. Jean Claude.Answer of “My Eden”.

To me
Good morning Mr. Divet,Thank you for coming back.
We work on the affiliation model via the Affilinet platform. By registering on this platform, you have access to our generic banners, which you can select and upload directly to your site. A commission, which we can establish together, will be donated to you for each sale in which you played a role.
We can also work on creatives more specialized and adapted to your site, for example banners focused on organic vegetable garden as specified.
To validate this approach and find the right synergy, I invite you to provide me with some info on the traffic of the site (number of visits, pages seen, spaces where we could be listed) and possibly an estimate on the possible fallout of such Campaign (estimated click-through rate)
See you soon,
Regards,
Mathieu Thiebault

Hello –
Thank you for posting this question.
You can use a link when creating original content for your blog. That type of affiliate linking is ok. You will not be able to use advertising banners. There are limits on the types of code you can use to protect our shared environment.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Good evening. Thank you for your reply. You answer this
“You can use a link when creating original content for your blog. This type of affiliate link is ok.You will not be able to use banner ads.The types of code you can use to protect Our shared environment are limited. “
But in the link you have enclosed, it says
When you blog about the books you read, the music you like, the clothes that hit your fancy, the gadgets you mess up, or whatever interests you and your readers, do not hesitate to publish affiliate links Relevant using either text or images. “
You reply that it is not possible to post advertising banners and by clicking on the link you can use a text link or an image link.
What is the difference between a banner ad that I assimilate to an image and an image link? Good night !! -
Banner ads are typically displayed across your header and in your sidebars of your site. You can create a link like you’ve described in a post or page text as the guide mentions.

Hello.
Is it possible to put my partners in a publication (One for each). To see them just click on the tab of my blog “Partners”?
In fact it is a text that describes the site and in the end I put its banner. -
Hi there – What you are describing should be ok, as long as you are creating original content and not just sending traffic to those partners.
