Linking Photos in a Photo Gallery to another post

  I have created a photo gallery on one of my post and now I would like – if possible – to have each of those photos link individually to another post where I talk about the content……..Is this possible? I have Portfolio – Theme

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Images in the gallery cannot connect to blog posts. However, there is a solution that has been offered on one of our forum threads that I thought might suit you:

  Scroll down to our staff member, Kathryn’s, suggestion about adding a linked caption/title to each image.

  Thanks So Much – thatrobyn……and justjennifer! I have already worked at doing one – I still need to do some tweaking on caption (I like gathering flavors idea to “view” receipe………..but it’s a start. Thank You Thank You – however…one more thing…when I click onto my caption it goes to the photo – but the background is BLACK…..I see where gathering flavors is white – my general background color is a shade of purple – so how can I change this in the gallery?

  Hi there! I’m so glad that solution worked. We have such a smart community of users!

  In order to change the background in a gallery slideshow, you would need use of the Custom Design tools. Here are the features that are part of that package:

  en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

  If you decide to upgrade — I could help with the CSS code revision you’d require to change your slideshow’s background.

  Thanks….I am involving feedback from a friend on “look” of site…..and she is away for a few days…..The contrast of photo color against black is interesting – I thought if I could, on my own, check out how it looked against white and play around a bit I would do so……let me consider this, get the feedback from her, and then I may just upgrade – if so I’ll be in touch!
