Linking pieces of work to menus.

    So I have a menu that states different genres of my work, ie. Poetry, Essays etc. I am however unable to categorize the pieces of work i have done into these generes so they just end up stuck on the homepage. It also means if I want to do..say a poem I am unable to start a draft in my poetry section

    Hi there,
    What is your site URL?

    If you want to create a post category for each piece of your work such as Poems, Essays, etc, go to your Settings then click Writings and click Categories button on that page. This automatically creates a page for that category.

    You create a blog post, and assign it to that category in the post settings, as shown in this image:

    You publish the post and it automatically appears on the category page
