Linking post to image and having text to right

  Is it possible to link a post to an image? This is for one of my pages… I want to insert the featured image of a post onto the page and then, if possible, link the image to that post so that somebody can click on the image and it takes them to the post. Is that possible?

  Also, is it possible to have text to the left of the image?

  Hi Ali,
  Thank you for writing in!

  You can add the Media & Text block to the page, that way you would be able to add text and the image side by side and link the image to your page.

  To link the image to the page, you can click on the little chain symbol and type the link to the page in the field, as shown in this screenshot: https://i.gyazo.com/c24c12a79f104ba0d57c4794c4671d9a.png

  Hi,

  yes, that’s possible. when you insert an image on the page or post you get the choice to link the image to wherever you want. when you click on the image you get a popup window almost on the bottom of the image, there you can click on the third icon or on your keyboard crtl+k, then you can set the link your want.

  Thank you! I have been able to change the images so they have a link behind them. Now I am changing them to a media + text box, following https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/media-text-block/. But my text is huge. That article tells me I can change the text size if I select the paragraph block but I cannot find the text option (this is true with any of my paragraph blocks). Any suggestions for this, please?

  Hi Ali! You can change the font size of the paragraph in the sidebar, under the Typography section, as shown here: https://i.gyazo.com/f19e3db8aa350d17afeaef2e12b3651d.mp4

  You can choose one of the predefined options (like default, small, normal), or if you want, you can choose Custom and select a number to increase or decrease the font size as you like.
