Linking posts in Spun theme directly to pages

I would like to link posts in the Spun theme directly to static pages and can’t seem to figure out how to do it. What I want is to have a series of topic images on the main screen that when clicked, take people to pages that I update periodically. Could anyone help me do this?

(1) There is only one page we can post to in any blog.
(2) The static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we bloggers create do not automatically update.Only the dynamic pages like Archives, Categories and Tags created by the software when we publish a post will update automatically update with new posts.
By default the front page of the blog is the Page that displays all posts in your blog. You can create a static front page and have your published posts display on another page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ but doing that does not change what follows.
Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.

If I’m interpreting what you want correctly, you want to create a custom menu with links to all your categories.

Thanks for all that info. I still don’t know how to do what I want. On the Spun theme, there are photographs that represent posts. What I would like is to make the post a direct link to a page, so that the user clicks on the photograph representing a post and is sent to one of my pages. In WordPress.org there is a plugin called post-to-page that does this. My understanding is that WordPress.com has this functionality built-in, meaning there should be a quick and easy way to do this.
