Linking posts to menu

Hi, I’m a new blogger and so far loving it !

Haven’t got a viewer base yet, thankgod ! As I can’t seem to get what I believeto be a simple function to work.

    What I want:

I have a menu at the top, with About/Home etc.
    Example:

I want to create a menu item called “Android”, and then thought I could make a category and link it to Android, then when I add posts, if I link it to “Android”, it gets put in that page.

    Is this possible?

Or do all “Posts” goto homepage.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you tag your android posts with “android” then you can use a custom menu and put the “android” category into the top navigation. Custom menus give you a lot of flexibility over what goes into, and how you menu is arranged.

Thanks for the reply, could you explain a little further as I’ve already tried this.

I made a Menu item, named Android, that was like the links at the top of this page “Forums / Themes Support / News” etc.

I then Added a category of “Android” and tried a new post with Android ticked as the category. Nothing happened? Just went on my homepage again. :(

Yes, all posts show on the homepage (except if you set the homepage to display a static page).
For details on custom menus see this post of mine:
