linking projects to front page

  when I add the link for a project to an image on my home page, WP keeps changing the other images to that link as well. Then I change the other link to correspond, and it reverts the other link. Is this a glich?How do I resolve this?

  I have followed these support pages and my projects are not displayed like they say they will. So I have manually added the links. If I could get the portfolio to display like it is supposed to that would be ideal!

  i finally figured it out I think.I had to set the template as “front page”
