Linking Shopify Buy Button to WordPress website

    I am trying to link my Shopify buy button to my WordPress website. I have the WP Shopify plugin installed, not the premium option, and have the code from Shopify put into a html on my ‘Shop’ page. When you put items in the cart and proceed to checkout, it says something went wrong. I contacted Shopify and they said my button is good to go but it may be WordPress related as to why it won’t proceed to checkout and collect payment.
