Linking somebody else's blog so they get a notification.

I want to link other peoples blog to my post so they get a notification that i’ve linked their blog in my post, just got no idea how to do it! I have linked them with their URL however the people I am trying to tag are not getting the notification. Thank you in advance!

Trackbacks are a way to notify legacy blog systems that you’ve linked to them. If you link other WordPress blogs they’ll be notified automatically using pingbacks, no other action necessary.
