linking text

Don’t know why I can’t do this …. but ….I have two blogs. I want to link text in one blog to the other blog. I’ve done it before but today I can’t do it!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you explain how you are doing this? Can you show us a page where the linking isn’t working?

I have actually created 3 links in my wordpress admin site — trying again and again. I click on the text in the blog, then on links along the side and attempt to follow it …..

Links in the left menu takes you to a different page of links. If you want to hyperlink text within your post you need to click the Insert/Edit Link button on the tool bar above your post. It looks like a chain link. Highlight your text, click that button and then paste in the URL from your other site.
Please let me know if this doesn’t fix your issue. I’m happy to look deeper.

Thanks so much. It worked. I’ve managed to do it before — by accident? Even though I use wordpress a lot, I find it very confusing and sort of stumble my way through.
After trying for 3 days to insert the Writing 101 badge and link it successfulIy, I found a wordpress conference in Philly last Saturday. There, I realized there’s .com and .org. How great it would be to have a beginners’ wordpress conference! (I’d like to learn it and teach it.) The man who led our user’s session began exactly as I needed, going down the side bar, but then an audience question sent him careening off in another direction and it was so disappointing. Maybe a “.com” conference a course could be planned. Thanks again, Nancy (I love 101!) -
WordCamps are a great place to learn about WordPress. I think they even had some Happiness Engineers at that event. Good luck moving forward!
