linking to another domain

  im currently moving my site into wordpress for easy managment ;) on my site i write tutorials and the images are already hosted on my domain (http://www.example.com/tutorial_images)
  when i create a post and try and link an image to “DISPLAY FROM” (http://www.example.com/tutorial_images/whatever.gif) it doesnt work :( is there anyway i can link display pictures within wordpress from another folder on my domain?

  it should work. What exactly is the code you’re using, and what happens?

  It’s possible that the example.com site doesn’t allow hotlinking, in which case you’ll have to host them here or somewhere like Flickr or Photobucket instead.

  Another option if you have access to and can modify your domain’s htaccess file (which would be what’s blocking hotlinking) , you can set up a separate image folder for the images you want to appear on wordpress.com and then with the htaccess file set permission for your wordpress.com site to access it.
