LInking to another webpage???

I am creating a “online class” for one of my college classes. It is not a real class, but it must look like one. I am required to have a “discussion” page. On one of the examples that we were given, one of the students linking a PROBOARDS page to the overall page. When you would click on the “discussion” tab, instead of taking you to a wordpress page, it would take you to the proboards page.

I was wondering how you do that. I have tried everything, and all I can get is Linking it. For instance when I open “discussion” I see the link I can click on to go to that proboard page, but I would like for it to open automatically.

my web page for that is http://www.msmithfrit7738.proboards.com —any guidance you can give me would be great!! Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi.

you can add a selection to your navigation menu, that lead to your desired non site page link page, just as other selections lead your blogs pages.

    in particular:
scroll down to Adding Custom Links.
