Linking to back posts

  I went through all the wordpress set up stuff. One thing I can not find is how to add links within a post referring the reader to a previous post. IE: I want to be able to link people to the flour mix that is in a previous post. The “link” buttons are on the menu when you are editing a post but they are not ‘lit up”. You can’t link with them.
  I tried to explain. Hope you understand. Thanks so much…

  That’s easy. You have to highlight the text that you want to turn into a link before the link icon lights up and enables you to Linkify it.
