Linking to File in Media Library

  I am using the media and text block, and would like to link to a pdf which is in my library.
  I have already uploaded the image and now would like to link to the instructions which are in a pdf using the heading (H4) as the text in the link. I have done this in the past with no problem but now I can’t find the address for the pdf to put in the link. What am I doing wrong?

  Hi, do you have a link to the PDF itself? Try going to wordpress.com/media … then click on the PDF and click Edit.

  You’ll see a “copy” button next to your URL.

  Try copying that, then editing your post, highlighting the word you want to link, and pasting. Does that work for you?
