Linking to outside sites wwithout getting shut down … Again
-
One of my blog’s contributors wants to change her “about the author” information links, and I want to make certain that this adjustment won’t get my blog shut down. The URL ends with bodybyvi.com
Is that fine to link to? Any beef with these guys? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is going to be problematic, yes, especially if the link itself contains an affiliate code, which we cannot judge without seeing the whole thing.
-
Also, populating your site primarily with stuff from for-profit content farms, with links to Read More at those sites, is also a problem.
WordPress.com is a platform for original, non-commercial blogging. It’s fine to be informational, but you have to be informational in your own words.

The entire URL is http://www.shileennixon.bodybyvi.com/
I do write original content, but I have a famiy, job and went back to school and want to keep my blog updated regularly. My contributors help me do that. Most just have blogs like mine. Mrs. Nixon has written for me several times, even before I was on WordPresss, but her circumstances have changed recently and she asked if I could update her information and so I told her I would ask before doing so.
Let me know if her complete link is okay. Thanks!

http://www.skinnylimits.com/ is not a personal blogsite. It is a spammy sales site, and content from that site is not allowed here, most particularly not with links to go “read more” at their site.

OH. I’m sorry. I am a freelance writer for their blog. I only linked to my posts, because I wanted my readers to see some of my raw food articles there. I am the sole author of those particular posts. But I will remove the reblogs if necesssary. Is it necessary?

Is linking to an article I was paid to write considered “advertising”? This is why I like yes and no answers. I have read all those pages before. But the site you took issue with previously was not listed under the terms. Thats why I am here.
I’m guessing Shileen will have to be satisfied with a link to her personal blog http://www.shileennixon.com. Unless that’s problematic as well. Please, let me know. I want to have the matter resolved today, and I told her I would talk to WordPress about it.
And do I have to remove the reblogs to content written by me, but published on other blogs??????
