Linking to past blog posts

  I find when using the ‘link’ icon in the Visual Editor in the current version of WordPress that it is not giving me an option to link directly back to a past post. It used to do this last year, I think. Does anyone know why this feature has disappeared or how I can reinstate it?

  This issue has been reported many times. Nothing happened. Only thing to do is to go back to the old editor.
