Linking to PDFs in WordPress
-
Hi,
I’ve set up a new page on our website containing links to PDFs of interviews with some historians using “File” block type. You can see it at:
It works, but it’s ugly
In version 2, I’ve used Buttons and linked to PDFs on my One Drive through a URL file share. You can see it here:
https://dlhg.org.uk/some-of-our-speakers-v2/
It works, but is clunky
There must be a better way …. any ideas?
Thanks!
Garry

You could get a free ‘download’ icon (or any icon you like!) on websites such as flaticon and link the pdf that way:
https://www.flaticon.com/search?word=downloadAnd if your not sure how to add a link to an image, the support page shows how here:
https://wordpress.com/support/links/#add-links-to-imagesHope that helps!
