Linking to posts without the post, but when link is clicked the post is shown.
-
OK. I am trying to make this one page. I made it and now I want to link some things on there. I know that in order to link it I would have to make a page. How do I link something to a post that I don’t want showing up on the home page (or when you click the web address in the header) but when readers click the link they can still view the post? (It is just not viewable on the home page or when you click the address in the header)
Please Help!

That’s pretty much impossible, though I suppose you could include anchor elements on the page and link to those.
Why not try a static front page instead? http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
Alternatively, you can control the amount of posts shown on the front page via Settings -> Reading in your Dashboard.
