Linking to video posted to offsite website

  I’d like to add a video to our Gallery posts but all I have is a URL link to the video posted on another business’s website. They don’t have a YouTube account so I can’t link to that. I can’t find a way to post the video or even an image to my gallery page that will link to the other website to view the video. Can anyone help or do I have no choice but to purchase the actual DVD of the video to post to our website? Please help. Thanks. Deanna

  What is the URL of the site where the video is?
  If that business is selling their DVD, then it is probably copyrighted. You wouldn’t want to post such a video on your site.
  They could take action against you:

  Or if they offer an image:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/image-links/

  We purchased the link to the video so we have authorization to post the video. We had the option to purchase the DVD too, but I thought we could just link to the video posted to their site. The video link is http://www.rogerstv.com/page.aspx?lid=237&rid=51&ref=mississauga&gid=122231

  The link to our site is http://www.occa.ca The page I want to add the link to is our gallery page.

  deannaocca is just my username in WP. My access is linked to my email address. Is that what you mean?

  I’ve used the link feature when in my posts but this particular page does not give me the option to link to content, so I’m puzzled as to how I can get this link working…

  The CMS for our website is definitely WordPress. I’m new to WP so I’m not sure how to get certain things working.
