linking to videos on youtube (or comparable) site

  Is there a simple way to have a sidebar widget that would link to a handful (or more) of videos on youtube? I saw one wordpress site that had a link on the header photo to “click here for a list of videos”

  I am looking for the simplest way for readers to view videos and am not married to youtube if there is a better / more simple platform. I just today download DivX to compress videos but have not learned how yet. So, any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

  I found one wordpress forum discussion that suggested a Vodpod widget. Would that allow someone to click on “Videos” on the sidebar and be directed easily to a bank of videos of my choice at my youtube acct.?

  You can use the Vodpod widget, or you might be referring to a YouTube playlist, but I’m not sure how that works.

  Will that send someone offsite to YouTube? No. It’s a place on your blog where you can store your YouTubes and they play right there.

  Or you could just do what I do and add the category YouTube to each post that has a video in it. Then they could just click on the category to see all your posts.
