Linking to Your Own Hosted Blog

  I just need to verify that it is ok to link from your wordpress.com site to a wordpress.org hosted site that you also have .The hosted site does have google ads .

  linking is alright, just not solely to drive traffic there.

  Link in your blogroll or in relevant places in your blog posts. But be aware that WP.com blogs judged to exist only to drive traffic to offsite websites will be deleted. I’ve seen blogs that every post links to their commercial Get Rich Quick website; just don’t be spammy like that and all should be fine. I link to my independent blogs all the time when it’s relevant.

  Ok , thanks for the explanations . I was just thinking of a link within the blogroll but in reality my other site is unlikely to be relative to this blog . Just being lazy on getting the word out . :-)
