Linking to YouTube video in WordPress comment as text

  How to link to youtube video without letting it expand into a giant embed blob? How to make it show up as just a text blog?
  I do not want to make my comments into christmas trees. To me the text is important thing, the video should be there as an option, not as something overbearing and dominant.

  Hi there,

  If you don’t want the video to embed, don’t just paste in the link. Instead, write some text you want to link from, e.g. “Here’s a video”, or something. Then highlight that text, and paste the link. That way the text will turn into a link you can click to visit the video directly on Youtube.
