Linking Up

  So… New to blogging and will probably use all the wrong terms, so hopefully someone will understand what I’m talking about. I’ve seen that linking up to other sites is a great way to get higher traffic… But it seems like a lot of blogs link to other blogs using these images of the blogs, and they have a section reserved for it. But I can’t really figure out a way of doing it. All I can find is regular old links that go on the side of your blog and have no image, and it doesn’t seem right.

  Try this video it should help. Make sure you add the Links widget to your sidebar.

  In dashboard select “Links”, Add New Link You get the option to set an image then when you add the link.

  Or you can also use the Image widget and specify a URL for where you would like the image to link to.

  That’s what I do on the sidebar of my blog.

  If you click on my user name you’ll be able to see it in action.
