Linking within a single post and linking to a specific location within a different post on the same
-
Hi, I have a history related blog so use a lot of links to highlight references. How do I create a link from a word or phrase within an individual post to a location elsewhere (let’s say at the bottom of) the same post?
Also, how can I link a word of phrase within a post to a specific location (ie. a sub-heading) in another post within the same blog?
At the moment all I seem to be able to do is link to specific urls, meaning I can’t do any better than go to a page or post rather than a specific place within that page or post.
Many thanks,
Ciaran

Hi Ciaran,
To set up a link that jumps to a specific part of a page, see this support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/ -
Thanks micawbr, that’s perfect.
