Linking wordpress to Facebook

  I’m struggling to link WP to FB…it won’t seem to link to my established FB page. It wants me to create a new page…
  Any help appreciated.

  Hi there,

  It looks like that’s a personal Facebook profile, not a Facebook page.

  Facebook doesn’t allow third-party connections to personal profiles like that. They only allow connections to a Facebook page, like what you’d set up for a business (a page can be followed, but pages can’t have friends the way a personal profile can).

  Because Facebook doesn’t allow connections to personal profiles, it means you won’t be able to connect your site to https://www.facebook.com/john.brocklebank.3 to auto-share your new posts there. So if you want to share posts to that profile for your friends and followers to see, you’ll need to share those manually each time after you publish a new post.
