  How do you make URL links instead of just copying and pasting the link in your text widgets? I would like for it to be a word that you just click on and it takes you to the site.

  It’s the Links widget, otherwise known as the Blogroll. You have to put it in your sidebar if it’s not there already. If you go to Dashboard — > Links you’ll see that you can add in any URL and give it both a name and a tagline that’s visible when the cursor hovers over it.
