  I have links on my portfolio page and they look very faded unless you hover over them. Is there a way to make them stand out? Thank you

  Do you have the Custom Design upgrade? If yes, this is an easy fix. If no, you can hand-code the links in HTML to look stronger. I personally BOLD all my links.

  When you hover over them there more bolder , but not before. I don’t think anything can be done about that.

  Yes, it can, but as I said you have to hand-code it in HTML in the Text Editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/
