I want to repost another site’s article. When I put the link in my post, it looks like “http://www.etc.com” but I want the reader to see the article. Is there anyway to do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
If the other site is hosted here at WordPress.com, you can use our Reblog feature to reblog the article on your site. That will automatically create an excerpt of the article in the post you put on your site.
Another option for sites hosted anywhere is to use the WordPress Post bookmarklet. You can find that bookmarklet at the bottom of the Advanced Settings section in the editor here: https://wordpress.com/post
You can drag that “WordPress Post” button in your browser’s bookmarks section. Then, when you’re viewing the article you want to repost, you can highlight the text you want to share in your own post and click the button in your browser’s bookmarks to create a new post on your site.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
