We encounter the same problems at our blogs. Also when trying to fill in links the pop-up window only presents previous articles of that blog and not any more previous filled in url-links. Very annoying when every time a link has to be looked up again, has to be placed in and when the pop-up window cannot be closed by the keyboard but everything has to be addressed by the mouse.

All of the links I have made are on a draft that hasn’t yet been published. However I have figured out a solution to the problem. I click on the Apply button and then modify the link so it shows the name.

@clydeherrin and @christadelphians, are you using the editor from wordpress.com/post , an app, or wp-admin?

I am using the same editor I have been using since I started by blog a little over four years ago. Until this week I had no problem with it. Apparently wordpress has made some change in it that took effect this week. I have figured out how to make it work since you changed it but it would have been easier for me if you had left it alone and not changed it. You shouldn’t try to fix something that isn’t broken.

@clydeherrin, I still don’t know how to duplicate the error you’re talking about. If you’d like to take some screenshots and include more information, I can send that back to the developers. There is a chance they were fixing something else that was broken and accidentally broke this without realizing it.

The problem has apparently been resolved. I posted a link this morning and everything was just the way it was before my problem began.
