Links.

Many of my link categories are not showing up. I would like to have my links in three columns. I tried to use footer one for one column, footer two for the next, and footer three for the blogs I follow. For some reason, I can’t to that. When I use footer two, the same exact links that are in footer one show up in footer two. why?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
If you’re referring to the Links widget, the “Select Link Category” option allows you choose only “All Links” or a single link category. If you’re obtaining the same links in the widget in different widget areas, then you must have “All Links” selected in each case. The Visibility options have no affect on which links are displayed.

In order to display a series of link categories in a widget area, you would need to use a links widget for each link category, and customize it to display only links in that category. So for multiple link categories in multiple widget areas, you’ll need a series of links widgets in each widget area.

My second post was poorly worded. One may display a series of link categories with a single Links widget by choosing the “All Links” option.
What I meant to say was that since the only options regarding what to display in a Links widget are to display all link categories or a single link category, in order to display a selection of link categories that is fewer than all categories but more than one, one would evidently need to use a series of Links widgets, each with a single links category displayed.

Change “the only options regarding what to display” to “the only options regarding which link categories to display.”
