Links and images

Hello! When I copy and paste the URL of my website homepage or a specific page (to Facebook for Example), Facebook recognises it and it has a small area for a picture. However, mine is blank and I want to be able to have it so that a specific picture comes up for all of my blog posts whenever I copy and past the link somewhere. How do I do that? Thank you in advance!

  • Hi Valerie,

Unfortunately I can’t see your website as it’s not listed below your comment :(

Normally, social media platforms grab the first image appearing on the page. If the Facebook snippet can’t fetch any images, it can be because there’re no images embedded on the body of blog post.

Also, you may want to try adding a featured image on your post, if your theme allows you to do so. Featured images have 100% chances to appear on social media snippets.

Hope this all makes sense to you!
    Cheers :)
