links and tags to my blog

  Would I be right in thinking that if I set my privacy to not come up on internet searches and have no tags on any of my posts, then noone would be able to find and read my new blog unless I gave them a link to it?

  See here for controlling who can read your blog. privacy settings The answer to your question is yes but I will qualify it because if you link to any other blogs then your cover is blown. If anyone who has access to your blog links to it or any content in it or shares the URL of the blog your cover is blown. The weakest link when it comes to privacy are people.
