Links automatically referring to old domain once premium plan expired

My premium plan recently ran out so that my domain name is no longer connected to my wordpress site (it’s now referring to my self-hosted site), but the problem is that the links on my wordpress pages are still pointing to the old domain where the pages no longer exist.

I want to continue to use my wordpress site as an archive for the time being, so that I can redirect people there from my new site, so it’s imperative that all the links remain in tact.

I managed to go in and manually edit a few links so that they point to my blog.wordpress.com address, but others are automatically reverting to the custom urls they used to have. I edited all of the links on a single page, only to find that they had changed back!
In order to edit the links I am typing the name of the page I want to link to and then selecting it from the list. I can see that it shows the correct url, but once I click back on the link to check it, it has reverted.

The menu links seemed to have automatically updated and work as they should, but that’s it.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there!

Could you share a link to a page/post where you see the wrong link that won’t update? We’ll have a look and advise.

Thanks, but I managed to finally change everything manually.
