Links displayed on relevant post

    Brand new user of WordPress and so far I love it. However, I do have one questions. Is there any way to display links in the side bar only for the relevant post and not have it displayed in all posts? I have one post with a subcategory built seperate from the blogroll but that subcategory by default shows on all my posts. Please tell me I can stop that.
