Links don't work.

  Hello. Am using the Quintus theme, and when I try to add a link to a post, I highlight the text, click the add link little chain icon, paste in the url, and save. I know it recognizes this as a link because the text then becomes blue and underlined. But, once i hit update and go to the blog, the link appears sort of rouge in color, and simply won’t work. Any suggestions? I currently have an example at the bottom of my most recent post. The text lonked is “RCUniverse” and it goes nowhere. TIA for any help!. Oh, the blog is cartoonplanes.wordpress.com.
