Links for affiliate programs

  Hi,

  Currently I’ve been offered an affiliate program by one of online store operating in Indonesia. The option is I put link or banner to their site (which I understand that banner is strictly prohibited). Is there any chance that putting a link in sidebar widget is allowed?

  I understand that a blog post containing a link to a vendor for a product I use is a way to do the affiliate program.

  I hope you understand that I’m asking this in advance so that I will still follow WordPress guidance.

  You are right — we don’t allow banners for affiliate links. You are more than welcome to add an affiliate link to your sidebar, but it cannot be an image link.
