links for menu items

I have created my menu items (home, 802, 802, 820) as I want to post under each number for each class. The video shows creating a link for each item, but
how do I know what my custom link is for each of my menu items? I would like a new page to open when someone clicks on the menu item.How do I post under a specific menu item? Since each number is a different class, when I post something, how do I make it go under that category?
In class 820, I have part i, ii, ii as a drop down menu, as I have 3 different assignments I want to go under each of those categories. How do I post to each one of those?

how do I know what my custom link is for each of my menu items?When creating a custom link, the URL that the menu item is linked to simply inserted into the URL box in the menu editor at Add new > Custom link. Your menu items 802, 803, and 820 are linked to posts.
How do I post under a specific menu item? Since each number is a different class, when I post something, how do I make it go under that category?
You may have intended those number to represent classes or categories, but that’s not what they are actually doing. The numbers 802, 803, and 820 are post titles, and the corresponding menu items are linked to the post of those titles.
If you want those numbers to instead be post categories, and link to pages that list posts in those categories then take the following steps:
- Change the post titles, removing the numbers and adding each post title to the title field of the post, not below the title field in the post content.
- Add the each of the numbers as categories to one of more posts as described in the Categories support page.
A category page will be automatically created for each category that has been added to one or more posts. Category pages are dynamic, so that each time you publish another post with one those categories assigned to it, the post will be added to the corresponding category page.
