“links” has disappeared

  I had the “links” widget, but then deleted the wordpress links and the widget disappeared, so now I can’t add the links I want to add. The links widget still is showing up under “appearance”.

  You don’t add links to the widget per say, you add links by going to “links” in the left hand navigation on the dashboard and then to “add new”. Make sure and assign a category to the links as well when you create them or they will be put into the “blogroll” category by default. You can change the default link category by going to settings > writing and selecting a different one from the pulldown and then clicking “save changes.”
