Links highlight color in post extends outside of text

Add topic to favorites
The link in my post are highlighted. I just logged on the find that the highlight now extends the entire width of the page. What’s up? Thanks in advance!

This is just one of many since it’s happening in all of my posts. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong. I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.15. Sorry for the incoherent initial post – I’m not drunk, just a lousy typist…again any help is much appreciated!

Okay, I’m looking.

Just to remind you: if those are all affiliate links, you could be in a great deal of trouble. Blogs designed around affiliate income are not allowed at WP.com; blogs that include occasional affiliate links as part of real reviews may be allowed, subject to staff approval.

If they’re not affiliate links, ignore me. And btw those Zanotti sandals are $200 cheaper at Zappos! I work for The Manolo, I know these things.

The only thing I can see wrong is:

You’ve got your < br > inside your a tags. Delete it. Just delete it and save and see what happens then.

THANK YOU! Of course they aren’t affiliate links – thanks for the heads up though. I don’t make a red cent. I’m a former stylist and current ‘housewife’ who tells other housewives what to wear so as not to go mad changing diapers. Thanks for the Zanotti tip and for the link info – much appreciated!

It didn’t work. Any other suggestions? The weird thing is that it was fine for a while and then just showed up this way today. Thanks in advance once again.
