  How do you insert links to other blogs or websites in the comments section of a WordPress blog?

  I’m not exactly clear as to what you are asking. You simply type the url into a comment box and that’s it. So I’m assuming you mean something more than that.
  I moderate all my comments on my blogs. The reason I do so is so that no one can just stick a link in a comment box that I may not want to appear on my blog. This prevents the racists, porno promoters, bigots, gay bashers and other sicko nutcases from using my comment boxes as soapboxes from which to pour out their poison on my readers. Many other bloggers moderate all blog comments for similar reasons.
