Links in galleries

    Hi, I have uploaded a gallery with 10 images of products. I need to link the product to the sites where each product can be purchased. I can’t find a way to link words from the caption, or even the image, to any web address. Can someone please help?

    Hi there,

    When you are creating image galleries, you are unfortunately somewhat limited in what those galleries can be linked to. They can only link to the images themselves or to a page which displays the image. They cannot be linked to a external link.

    Now if you are just uploading individual images, those can be linked to any URL at all quite easily. To do so (even if you’ve already uploaded and set them), you can edit your page or post and then click on the image. You’ll see two icons appear, one that looks like a postcard and one that looks like the international “no” symbol. Click on the postcard and on the settings page which appears, you can change the Link URL to go to whatever page you’d like! :)
