links in our newsletter are no longer in color
-
For the last five years, we’ve colored links in our newsletter blue to differentiate them from the body… Now, even though we’re selecting blue, they appear online in black. You can see the difference by scrolling through the latest entry and an entry a month ago: https://thisweekatthemarket.wordpress.com. What’s going on???
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I just went to your site and I am seeing links in blue. However, the links in the latest post have a lighter shade of blue than last month’s.
In my opinion, from a user experience perspective, it’s not a good idea to use too many font colors. Also, it’s best to set a global color for links for consistency.

I had a similar problem. If you are creating posts using the new editor, the text colour selector doesnt work any more. Seems that wordpress released an update to the way the link builder works in the new editor and it appears to have broken that functionality.
Check out https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-cant-change-the-text-colour-in-my-links?replies=6#post-2970741 which is the thread on my post. You can either do some html manipulation which can be a bit time consuming or create in the old style editor.
Hope that helps til they fix what wasnt broken!

Above my skill level, but friends will assist in reinstate color…

Hi there, it looks like this might be an issue with the WordPress core software itself as reported by Staff in this thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/my-blog-suddenly-stopped-letting-me-change-link-colors?replies=16#post-2975788
