Links in posts appear with little squares
-
Hi! I’m new to wordpress and when I add links to my blog posts, they appear with little squares next to them. How do I get links to display as just regular words but clickable, without those little squares?
You can see an example here:
http://charlotteauchocolat.com/2011/04/06/brown-rice-salad-with-citrus-parmesan-dressing/On my about page, I left the links in the default light blue, and they don’t have the accompanying squares; for my posts, I colored the links black- so maybe that’s the problem? However, I don’t want the links in my post to appear in that default blue as I find it distracting.
Thanks so much for helping me with this!

Those little icons are part of the design of the Neutra theme. The only way to get rid of them would be if you had some CSS editing experience and the CSS upgrade.

Actually what might be causing this is the fact that you are having the links open in a new window since the icons are being called for target blank. If you set things to not open in a new window/tab, then that icon should go away.
