Links in sidebar don’t work

  I have to confess here that I really have no idea about html. If I try to create a list of links (not a blogroll, but links to pages like BBC News), in a text widget, and I put in something like BBC News, it shows as something like a link, but you can’t click on it. What am I doing wrong?

  Well, and the code writing worked here, so I’m obviously not too stupid to write html…

  Well, the links I see on this blog work fine for me although I’m guessing that’s a blogroll, right? If you’re looking at something different please let us know. Links within a text widget are just regular HTML. If something’s still not working you need to point us speciifcally to a example of what you’re going because without seeing it, we can’t tell you what’s occuring.
