links menu running slow

  Using 2014 theme and have applied 234 pages to the header and left menu The program is running slow (about 30 secs to position the page in the menu and another 30 secs on the save) with repeated “fail to load” error message. I have not yet used any of the storage space provided Thank you in anticipation of your help
