Links not appearing

  Very interesting. So your browser’s security settings in https seem to be interfering with your ability to add a link.

  This doesn’t happen for me in Firefox/HTTPS, oddly.

  How about when you use Firefox’s Safe Mode:
  https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

  If you’re in safe mode, does the same https/http discrepancy occur?

  The mystery continues.

  1. Please temporarily disable all extensions/add-ons on Firefox/Chrome:
     Firefox:
     https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons
     Chrome:
     https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/187443?hl=en
     https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142064?hl=en

     Then, see if the operation works better for you.

  2. Please tell me what security software you have running on your computer. Could you look into its settings to determine if you’re able to add your dashboard, and WordPress.com (with/without http/https settings) as “safe sites.”

  Hi there!

  Good to know!

  Can you confirm you’ve disabled the extensions and add-ons on this computer?

  What about the security question I posed — are you running security software? If so, can you look into its settings and see if you can add all WordPress.com sites (with and without https) to your list of safe sites.
