links not working

  I’m trying to create some links in a new page, i’m on the html mode (because on the visual mode the insert link button is not active), i’ve clicked the link button, filled up the insert link box, the html code for the link appears on the screen, but somehow when i go back to visual mode there’s nothing there on the place where the link should be and obviously there’s nothing on the new page itself…

  I’ve tried aswell to create a new link through the new link button on the left hand side menu and still doesn’t work.

  I’ve got some other links working in other pages and follow all your directions about creating links.

  There’s nothing because you’ve typed nothing: first you type the text that should act as the link, then you highlight it, then you click the link button. Applies to both Visual and HTML editor.

  You’re welcome. One thing that often misleads users is the title field/attribute: the title of a link isn’t the visible clickable text, it’s the (optional) extra info that shows up when you hover over a link.
