Links not working on my blogroll

Please can someone help me with this!!! It is frustrating me no end because although I’ve triple checked I have done everything correctly (to my knowledge) in the Links tab off my dashboard, the three links I have on my blogroll (one of them is a wordpress blogger, by the way) still does not work. It goes to a page that says “oops . . . etc” to paraphrase: the link doesn’t exist or the address has changed which in these three cases they have not! Pleeease help!

Please edit your Links in your dashboard and be sure what you entered was the complete URL. Sometimes people forget that every URL starts with http:// In other cases people can accidentally enter http:// twice and that won’t work either.

Somehow you have added your own URL to the URL of the blogs you want in your blog roll:
You have: http://moniquerockliffe.wordpress.com/warriorwriters.wordpress.comShould be: http://warriorwriters.wordpress.com/
Both of the blogroll links have the same error.

Thanks so much for this, guys. I will check it out. I think I only added one forward slash after http:/ like so. As to auxclass’s tip … When I entered the links I only entered their addresses and did not see mine in the URL box as you mentioned. If it is as you say then it happened automatically ’cause I certainly didn’t do it :) Again, I will check. Thanks again.

Sometimes the “auto” part of any insert link works a bit strange – I always triple check the links and still things get messed up sometimes

Hey guys, So it turns out it was the extra forward slash that I left out!! I’ve learned something so thanks again for your help! All is working now!! Yippeeee!!!
