Links Not Working Properly

  I have text as well as image linked out, however, when I click on them they actually go somewhere else ( http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/ ). Also when I hover over, it shows the wrong link ( again, http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/ ). I already went into html and checked that I had the proper link that I wanted. I went so far as to remove the links and put them back in, several times, they still will not work. Please help or advise on what to do.

  Did you read what it says at http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/ ? That should give you a hint as to why WordPress.com would automatically replace your links with that.

  WordPress.COM is not going to work for you. You need to pay for a web host and get WordPress.ORG instead. Sales like that are banned here. That’s why your links are redirecting.

  Thanks go out to airodyssey and raincoaster for your rapid responses. In my hast to do something I did not read and just assumed. I will slow down a bit and read their Terms of Service.
